We are delighted to share that TrailBlazer served as Legal Counsel to TBI-KIET on its investment in Thought2Design Systems (https://thought2design.com), advising on transaction advisory, deal structuring, deal structuring, due diligence, and transaction documentation and due diligence (corporate & IP). Thought2Design is a deep-tech company, building the next generation of AI-driven modeling and simulation tools across three verticals: (i) eCAD: a comprehensive PCB design ecosystem with LLM-guided simulation suite. (ii) mCAD: A flexible 3D CAD and FEM platform. (iii) MSiM: A micro-economy simulator that models complex multi-agent systems, with multiple applications. The company is led by Founder & Chairman Prof. Smruti Ranjan Sarangi (creator of the Tejas processor simulator; 100+ papers, 12 patents) and CEO Dr. Nivedita Shrivastava, an expert in AI accelerator design, a team of world-class researchers building tools that are open, cross-platform, and cloud-native. Their long-term vision is ambitious: to make large-scale, AI-powered simulation accessible across hardware design, mechanical engineering, and economic modeling, the kind of foundational infrastructure that lets the next wave of innovation move faster.
